Lead Installer of Bullet Resistant Glass Barriers

Total Security Solutions is looking for a qualified individual to join the bulletproof glass barrier installation team, with an emphasis on being able to complete on-site installations quickly, accurately, and efficiently. As a member of our installation team, you will be responsible for representing Total Security Solutions in a professional manner while completing barrier installations on-site.

While bulletproof glass is a unique material to work with, if you’re willing to work hard and learn, we will teach you everything you need to know to be successful in this position!

Qualifications

• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
• Math skills and ability to read and interpret measurements
• "The Buck Stops Here" mentality 
• Willingness to travel up to twice per month for up to 5 - 10 days at a time
• Understanding of job site safety best practices
• Perfectionism with a focus on the fit and finish of the final install
• Ability to meet deadlines and think on your feet
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
• Measuring, cutting, and fastening of barrier components in place
• Exceptional work ethic with multi-tasking ability
• Ability to lift and handle heavy materials
• Ability to read and understand project drawings and blueprints to manufacture appropriate elements
• Initiative to learn new things and apply them to your trade
• Valid Driver's license and ability to pass a background check

Related Experience

• 5 + years carpentry experience
• Fit and finish experience
• Contractor work experience a plus
• Prior shop experience preferred
• Experience operating power tools and heavy machinery

This is a full-time position based in our Fowlerville, MI office and requires overnight travel at least twice a month. Successful candidates will also demonstrate a commitment to integrity, superior customer service, and passion for a job well done. When not working in the field.  Installers will be working in our production facility.
