Job Description:
Total Security Solutions is looking for a qualified individual to join the manufacturing team as a general shop laborer. This is a full-time position in our Fowlerville, MI headquarters.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and preparing various elements of custom bullet resistant barrier components. We operate at a fast pace, and bullet resistant glass is a unique material to work with; but if you’re willing to work hard and learn we will teach you everything you need to know to be successful here.
Qualifications
- Hard worker with multi-tasking ability that can perform in fast paced environments
- Ability to follow instructions and pick things up quickly
- Initiative to learn new things and apply them to your trade
- Ability to continuously stand or walk
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds frequently
- Ability to squat occasionally
- Willingness to work in various departments (glass, steel, aluminum, wood) depending on production requirements
- Prior shop experience preferred
- Experience operating heavy machinery preferred
